New minor Update
What’s new on the site (update 2.0.9)
- Faster play, no more page reloads. The village, forest, shops, inn, bank and fights now change in place. Back and Forward always bring you to your latest page, and a double click no longer does anything twice.
- A little dot next to your mail link. Green means pages change in place for you. If it’s a grey ring, hover over it to see why, or switch it on in Preferences → Change pages in place.
- Live chat. Your line is posted without reloading, and new lines from others appear by themselves.
- Notices in the upper right. They show new mail, a new Message of the Day, and a countdown before you’re logged out, with a Stay logged in button.
- Mail and the Message of the Day open in a window inside the page, so you never lose your place.
- Live duels on the Duelling Ground. See who’s online and challenge them right away, for honour (friendly) or for real stakes (serious). You fight in rounds: attack, guard or give up, chosen in secret.
- You can also challenge from the PvP list.
- Afterwards there’s a rematch button, and other players can watch.
- Your wins and losses show in your bio and in the Hall of Fame.
- Safer bank. Deposits, withdrawals and transfers go through exactly once, even if you click twice.
- Clans: officers can accept new applicants with a single click.
- Bold and italic in chat, bios, mail and clan texts, where the staff allow it. Whatever you open closes again by itself, so nothing “leaks” into the rest of the page.
If something looks odd, reload the page once. If it keeps happening, send a petition and tell us what you did.
