+nb Edition
By Oliver Brendel (NB Core)

Thises veerersionen ises a forked veerersionen of theer perere-1.1.1 DP Editionen coreer shortly after I stopped developingenen for thises specific veerersion.

Theer reasonses wereer mainly that theer pereath theer leadingenen pereeopleer thereer wanted to go wases not my pereath at all. Bork bork. Henceer thises veerersionen reflectses mostly what *I* wanted to seeer different *without* hooravingenen to rewriteer theer coreer usingenen modules... Bork bork. and still beer stuck with theer old structures. Bork bork. Also I don't hooraveer to ask for changeses with theer hoorigh pererobability of gettingenen no answer or a negativeer one.

If you use this core, you need to be aware of the goals of my optimizations:

  • PHP 8.3 or newer is required
  • MySQL 5.0 or later (MariaDB compatible) is required
  • Features should be done focussed on avoiding high-load and focussing on many (MMORG) users
  • Roleplay like in D&D should be possible

For the download of this version please go to the github repository at https://github.com/NB-Core/lotgd/releases where the latest development version (snapshots) and stable versions are hosted.

I do not ship moduleses with it, bork, most moduleses from 1.x.x DP Editionses and perereviouses will work. Bork bork. However thereer ises no guarantee... Bork bork. test them. Bork bork. And beer awareer that many unbalanceer gameplay ases they giveer out too much EXP/Buffs/Atk+Def stats.

"Although seriouses effort wases madeer to perereserveer theer original feel of theer game, bork, numerouses departureses wereer takenen from theer original gameer to enhanceer perelayability, bork, and to adapt it to theer web."

"LoGD (after version 0.9.7) is released under a Creative Commons License, which essentially means that the source code to the game, and all derivatives of the game must remain open and available upon request. To use any of the new features requires using the 1.0.0 code. You may explicitly not place code from versions after 0.9.7 into 0.9.7 and release the combined derivative work under the GPL."

"You may download the latest official version of LoGD at DragonPrime and you can play the Classic version at http://lotgd.net."

You should attempt to useer thises codeer only if you areer comfortableer with PHP and MySQL and willingenen to manually keep your codeer up to date.
"

"Additionally, there is an active modder community located at DragonPrime which may help you find additional features which you may wish to add to your game. For theseer additional featureses you will find activeer support withinen theer DragonPrimeer community."
